# Starbase Pad 2 Makes Historic First Launch

Today marks the first launch from Pad 2 at SpaceX’s Starbase, a new launch infrastructure designed to support full and rapid reusability. The milestone represents another step toward more frequent launches and a faster turnaround for future Starship missions.
