A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 551 rocket will launch the first operational Project Kuiper mission on April 9, 2025. Liftoff will take place from Space Launch Complex (SLC)-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The launch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EDT (1600 UTC), at the opening of a three-hour window. This flight marks ULA’s first launch in support of Project Kuiper.
